SYNOPSIS from IMDBb.com: An intellectually disabled man is unjustly accused of attacking a young girl. Disguised as a scarecrow, he hides in a cornfield, only to be hunted down and shot. Later, after it is revealed he saved the girl from a vicious dog attack, members of the search posse are killed by a mysterious scarecrow.

A made-for-tv horror film that premiered on CBS Friday, October 24, 1981, directed by Frank De Felitta with a script written by J.D. Feigelson, who is later credited as creator of the entire 'Killer Scarecrow' horror subgenre because of this film. Feigelson's original intent was to make an independent feature, but his script was bought by CBS for television; despite this, only minor changes were made to the original screenplay. The film stars Charles Durning, Tonya Crowe, Larry Drake, Lane Smith, Claude Earl Jones, Robert F. Lyons, Jocelyn Brando, Richard McKenzie, Ivy Jones, Tom Taylor, Alice Nunn.

John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN (1978) on NBC Friday Night at the Movies

The world television premiere of John Carpenter's "Halloween" aired on the NBC network on Friday, October 30, 1981 the same day Rick Rosenthal’s 1981 sequel "Halloween II" was released in theaters. Here is the opening promo along with some scenes from the film and bumpers from that broadcast. The movie had twelve additional minutes added to pad it out to the two-hour time slot and to tie in the brother/sister relationship between Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers.

TERRIFIER (2015) Official Teaser Trailer

Writer, director and special efx artist Damien Leone is bringing back Art The Clown in his new film Terrifier a spin-off of his 2013 flick All Hallows' Eve, which I really enjoyed watching. Art the Clown, the main villain from All Hallows' Eve, is an original horror icon that easily fits in with the likes of Jason, Freddy, and Michael.

An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to help make the feature adaptation of "Terrifier" a reality. 85% of the budget has been raised but additional funds are still needed for some essential cast and crew members without whom, there will be no film. Click the link below to read the campaign story, to view the perks and watch the campaign video at:

Campaign Video:

SYNOPSIS from IMDb.com: A maniacal clown named Art terrorizes two young women on Halloween night and everyone else who stands in his way.

SILVER BULLET (1985) Poster by MATT RYAN TOBIN

Matt Ryan's privately commissioned screen print for Stephen King’s 1985 Werewolf flick Silver Bullet. A very entertaining horror film about a young boy in a wheelchair who discovers a werewolf has been killing off various people in his small town. He then must prepare with his sister and crazy, dead-beat uncle to confront the Werewolf on Halloween night when the moon is full. I love this film, a suspenseful story, great gory kills and a few funny lines.
